If you activated it on one computer and wish to have it on a second computer you will need to purchase a new license for that computer.
Per the license agreement it is not transferable. The software that comes free with the handheld is designed to be installed and activated on a single computer. I will be more than happy to answer your questions about the activation process for the software and its license agreement. It is unfortunate that you are having difficulties trying to activate your TI-Nspire student software on a second computer. Quote Re: US, SftInstallUse, TI-Nspire or TI-Nspire CAS Software Show Details Darl, Thank you for contacting Texas Instruments. it seems like they are out to get the legitimate buyer, but the crook who crack the software can use it in anyway they like without spending a coin or get a slap on their wrist. what do you think are the success rate on something like this? this whole single machine activation bull crap is so inconvenient. does any of you have situation similar to this where you have to get new activation for the newer computer you purchased or replacement computer from warranty. but i prefer not to do this since it is a hassle and i need the calculator and i'm using it for my class right now. now i'm thinking of returning the calculator back to the store and wait until i get my new computer and buy the calculator again. i emailed ti support about my situation and haven't got a respond. my situation is that i'm looking to upgrade to a newer laptop in a few months and need to have my student software activated on the new machine.
Hello folks, i just recently purchased an nspire cx cas calculator and learned that the student software can only be activated on a single computer after i have already activated the software on my computer.
